Whether you are a serving or retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces or the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and are related to one or the other, a Canadian or Non-Canadian citizen who wishes to serve veterans and promote remembrance and to serve our communities and our country, we’ll be thrilled to have you join us.
We have different membership types: Ordinary, based on type of service, Associate based on relationship and Affiliate Voting for Canadian citizens and Affiliate Non-Voting for non-Canadian citizens that do not fall under the previous types.
The membership fee for 2025 is $70.00 and you can enter auto renewal instructions if you wish, when you join online.
Your membership will include The Legion magazine subscription mailed to you on a quarterly basis, and you will also be eligible to enjoy MemberPerks, with access to money-saving offers and deals at stores, restaurants and services across Canada.

Upon joining you will receive a Welcome package containing your name tag, a Pin according to your membership type as well as a membership plastic card, however you can also choose to have a digital card that can be accessed on your mobile phone.
Your name will also appear on our quarterly magazine, Fork York News, which covers relevant information regarding our activities during the year.

The Royal Canadian Legion was formed in 1926 with a membership of 50,000. The Legion’s commitment to the Remembrance of those who gave their lives for peace and freedom, is as valid today as it was then. Today the Legion is one of the largest community service organizations in Canada.
